FG declares Tuesday, October 19, public holiday to mark Eidul-Mawlid

The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 as Public Holiday to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Mawlid Celebration in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
 
Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, made this declaration on behalf of the Federal Government and congratulates all Muslim faithful both at home and in the Diaspora for witnessing this year’s occasion.

A 12 years old boy was beaten to death by his fellow students after refusing to join their cult.

Before his death, he revealed 5 names of those who perpetrated the evil on him.

The school authority however claimed that he got injured while playing football, but the hospital report claimed otherwise and attributed the death to internal damages caused by severe beatings.
