The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has revealed that the leaked memo detailing a contract for the construction of a mosque was not an error.

The leaked letter was a minute part of a contract issued for a Borno community which also includes the provision of the powered borehole with overhead tanks, and drinking troughs for cattle and small ruminants, water harvesting structures, resettlement abode, milk collection centre and others.

The mosque was a special request for the community which was being resettled after attacks from insurgents. The mosque was to make sure they don’t move far away from their new abode.
