Author and Socio-political commentator, Reno Omokri has highlighted reasons why the newly launched Nigerian Cryptocurrency e-naira is bound to fail.

Recall that GistAroundYou revealed that the Federal Government through the Federal Bank launched the e-naira as a means to facilitate trade in the country and the world at large.

Reno made this shocking revelation on his Facebook page. According to him, the e-naira may not be able to woo investors foreign investors because of the government’s strong stance against the crypto world.

Even his (Buhari) own government is not using e-naira to process payments to civil servants, the military, police and N-power beneficiaries, Reno lamented.

He believes that the e-naira cannot thrive while president Buhari’s ban on the crypto currency exist.

After the launch of e-naira, Nigeria becomes the first country to launch a cryptocurrency in Africa. Upon launch, the e-naira application have been pulled out from the Google app store due to low rating.
